Naruto Chapter 597: The Secret Behind the Space-Time Ninjutsu
As Tobi strips off his sleeve from his injured arm, Gai asks Kakashi to explain how they were able to finally land an attack on the enemy and to further explain his comment that Tobi is actually only using 1 jutsu. Kakashi explains that both the jutsu to suck things up and the jutsu to make things or attack slip through Tobi are the same space-time jutsu. Both the areas where the kunai cracked his mask and where he got injured by the rasengan were both areas that Tobi and Naruto's bodies overlapped. Kakashi points out that he had sent both the kunai and the rasengan to another dimension using his Kamui, pointing out that his own jutsu and Tobi's space-time jutsu are the same. Kakashi clarifies that only he and Tobi can use the same jutsu, and further explains how the two attacks actually hit Tobi. Every time Naruto's attacks seem to overlap with Tobi, Tobi was actually sending his body parts as objects to the other dimension, where Kakashi had sent the objects with his Kamui, thereby landing on Tobi in the other dimension. Ko asks how Kakashi and Tobi's jutsus could be using the same dimension. Kakashi asks Tobi where he got his eye, and Tobi answers that he got it at the battle of Kanabi bridge during the great war where Kakashi was hailed the "sharingan hero". As Kakashi is about to ask his identity, Tobi stops him and tells him that he has been reduced to a man who's all words and no action. Tobi tells Kakashi that he is trying to create the Infinite Tsukuyomi, thereby creating a world where heroes aren't reduced to making pathetic excuses on graves, which causes Kakashi to remember certain memories. Naruto butts in, reprimanding Tobi for still going on about the Infinite Tsukuyomi and telling him that he intends to become a Hokage, especially after being entrusted with so many things. Tobi scoffs at Naruto's words, asking what Jiraiya, his father and he himself would think if he failed at what they entrusted him with. Karuma remembers Minato's words to Naruto about entrusting Karuma to Naruto because Naruto can deal with him. Karuma asks Naruto to switch with him so he can give Tobi a peace of his mind. Karuma tells Tobi that he was entrusted to Naruto, who was able to become his friend and use his powers, telling Tobi that it was all so Naruto could take him down. He switches back with Naruto and tells him that he won't fail. Naruto launches towards Tobi.
Bleach Chapter 503: Wrath as a Lightning
The Vandenreich leader and his subordinate feel the overwhelming reiatsu of Kenpachi, who deposited the Stern Ritters Y "The Yourself" Lloyd Lloyd, R "The Roar" Jerome Guizbatt and Q "The Question" Berenice Gabrielli in front of them. The subordinate asks how the three Stern Ritter fell, with Kenpachi answering that it didn't take much effort, explaining how he defeated each one. The subordinate acknowledged Kenpachi's accounts and his strength, but Kenpachi tells him that he wasn't there for him and proceeds to attack the Vandenreich leader. The Vandenreich leader calmly blocks the attack, which culminates in explosion. Meanwhile, Ichigo becomes even more desperate after hearing about what happened to Byakuya, Renji and Rukia, driving him into an even more frenzied beating against his cage. Ichigo shouts that he won't let them, nor anyone, die, exclaiming that he will protect them all. Vice Captain Hisagi is overwhelmed by the attacks of Stern Ritter O "The Overkill" Driscoll Berci, whose strength increases after defeating every enemy. Driscoll tells Hisagi that he has killed 100 after arriving at Soul Society and another 100 before they left Hueco Mundo. He shares that he killed another Vice Captain using his talisman, which he aims to stab Hisagi with. Driscoll propels the talisman towards Hisagi, but the spear is suddenly pushed away by Captain Yamamoto, saving Hisagi from sure death. Driscoll laughs and gets excited that he is facing the Captain Commander. Driscoll tells Yamamoto that he will defeat him using the bankai of his subordinate, Vice Captain Sasakibe.
One Piece Chapter 677: Counter Hazard
The underground brokers watch as Caesar reveals Luffy and the others as his prisoners, prompting the brokers to wonder how Caesar could have captured them. Among those watching are the Kid Pirates captain Eustass "Captain" Kid (bounty at 470 million beli) and combat personnel Killer (bounty at 200 million beli). Kid expresses his surprise at Trafalgar's state, realizing that the other pirate captain never really went over to work for the government. Kid and Killer meet with their guests, and they find that On Air Pirates captain Scratchman Apu (bounty at 350 million beli) making trouble. As Kid and Scratchman start to fight, Hawkins Pirates captain Basil Hawkins (bounty at 320 million beli) announces that he will be leaving. Killer reminds all of them that they are there to form an alliance. Meanwhile, back at Punk Hazard, Trafalgar tells Luffy that they need to perform a counterattack to clean up the mess once and for all. The G-5 Marines under Smoker and Tashigi's command are panicking at the spread of the gas by Shi-No-Kuni. Trafalgar asks if anyone can set things on fire. Franky, though unable to use his arms, answers that he can perform Coup de Poo with his ass, which Trafalgar directs him to use on a ship below them. Franky sends out a fireball, setting the ship on fire, which causes smoke to travel up to their cage. Trafalgar uses the smoke as a screen so Caesar can't see them escaping from their chains, surprising everyone that he can remove the cuffs made from seastone. Trafalgar explains that he switched out the cuffs to normal ones during his stay on Punk Hazard, freeing Luffy, Robin and Franky. Trafalgar turns to Smoker and Tashigi, telling them that their fates are in his hands. Smoker and Tashigi realize that Trafalgar switched them back to their real bodies. Tashigi realizes that her chest is showing and begs her cuffs to be taken off in exchange for doing whatever they want. She and Smoker get into a shouting match, with Tashigi pointing out that not only will their men die, but that the kids will also not be saved if they don't cooperate with Luffy and Trafalgar. Trafalgar tells Smoker that if he survives, he can remove Vergo from his position. He tells Smoker that he can free him and Tashigi, but they have to promise not to tell anyone about Joker. Trafalgar realizes that Luffy is already outside of the cage, much to his frustration. Franky tells him that he needs to do something regarding the Thousand Sunny. Meanwhile, Zoro and his party are still chasing after the dragon, with Shi-No-Kuni still at their heels. Sanji is feeling the effects of strain on Nami's body, and accidentally touches her breast when indicating the strained respiratory functions of her body, causing him to run faster and catch up to the dragon. Nami in Sanji's body and Usopp, along with Brownbeard who carried them on his back, also contend with the incoming Shi-No-Kuni. They see someone being chased by the gas at the bottom of the cliff they are traveling on. The G-5 Marines realize that one of the research lab's shutters open behind them and they decide to enter, surprising the centaurs still working for Caesar. The centaurs realize that Luffy and the others have escaped and are inside the facility. Zoro's party and Nami's party meet up and all head towards the research lab, with the dragon holding on to Brownbeard's tail as it flies. Zoro tells Kinemon to cut through the metal wall of the lab to evade Shi-No-Kuni. Luffy sees their entry and comments that now that they're all together, they can finally go a little crazy.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 397: Vongola Strength
Tsuna, Enma and Basil face off with Big Pino and Small Gia, with Small Gia explaining that Big Pino is the carrier of all of the weapons that he needs to fight battles. Small Gia further explains that he only uses the weapons for fun and he can beat them with his bare hands. Small Gia moves to attack and Enma uses his gravity power, which causes Small Gia to float. Yet, Small Gia is not disturbed and caused the weapons he is using to explode, freeing him from Enma's hold and continuing his attack. Tsuna uses his power to block, but Small Gia pulls Basil out of the barrier and directs Big Pino to attack from the side. Big Pino's attack hits Basil squarely, destroying his battle watch in the process. Tsuna attacks Small Gia, but is hampered by a sudden flash, causing him to crash on a barrier. Small Gia moves to make the final blow, but Yamamoto latches on to Small Gia, while Gokudera attacks Big Pino. Gokudera asks Enma to turn Big Pino around and he grabs on to the Vindice's arm with the battle watch. Small Gia berates his partner, but Yamamoto reminds him that he also has his own problems, showing some of Gokudera's dyamite in his hands. Gokudera shouts that before they can think about defeating Tsuna, they have to get through his right hand man first. Tsuna still can't see because of the earlier flash. Gokudera asks Enma to hold both Small Gia and Big Pino in place using his power, then asks Chrome to ask Flan to use Verde's equipment. Although reluctant in the beginning, Flan agrees because of the command in Chrome's voice, asking for a kiss on the cheek afterwards in exchange for his help. Flan covers Gokudera and Yamamoto with ceramic, while Tsuna still tries to see what's happening and asking how everyone is. Gokudera and Yamamoto's explosives set off and they announce that the battle watches of the Vindice members are destroyed, declaring that no one should look down on the Vongola.
Fairy Tail Chapter 295: Sting and Lector
Mavis names the ability as Dragon Force, as everyone watches Sting and Lector unleash their inner dragon powers. Erza and Jellal recognizes the ability as the one Natsu used when fighting at the tower against Jellal. Jellal comments that Natsu had achieved his after consuming Jellal's power during their fight, which is different from Sting and Lector, who used their own wills. Sting tells Rogue not to get involved in the fight, since he is enough. As Natsu recognizes the new strength, Sting launches himself at the Fairy Tail dragon slayers, landing a hit on Natsu. Gajeel tries to land a kick, but is countered with a strong punch. Natsu's punch is countered with a kick in the gut and is thrown at Gajeel. Sting then unleashes Holy Breath at the two, destroying the floor of the stadium with its sheer power and overwhelming Natsu and Gajeel in the process. Lacrima screens are brought up, so the audience can still watch the battle. Natsu gets up and uses the Fire Dragon's Sword Horn to meet Sting's attack head on. Gajeel unleashes the Iron Dragon's roar to supplement Natsu's attack. The joint attack causes Sting to crash into rubble, but the Sabertooth member got up smiling. Sting prepares to attack, telling his opponents that the light of the white dragon purifies all things. Sting unleashes the Holy Ray attack, which hits both Natsu and Gajeel head on. Sting then heads directly for Natsu and punches, which Natsu catches with his hand, but the force of the punch forces Natsu backwards and causes him to crash on a wall. Sting then kicks Gajeel. Natsu and Gajeel tries to gang up on Sting, who evades or blocks their attacks easily. As he fights, Sting silently tells Lector that he will keep his promise to win. He remembers when Lector would cry about nobody believing his story that Sting had defeated a dragon. Sting would try to comfort Lector, who told him that he didn't like other people saying bad things about his friends. Sting promised Lector to show everyone that he is not a liar, and told him that even if there are no more dragons to defeat, that he would defeat Salamander to show everyone that Lector told them the truth. As Natsu and Gajeel lie in front of him, Sting raises his hand up in victory, silently asking if Lector is watching. Rogue comments that the generations are changing and that the seven years it took to build their strength marks the end of the old generation of dragon slayers. Sting agrees with him, but smiles as he commends Natsu and Gajeel's strength, releasing Dragon Force. As the spectators wonder and wait for the announcement of the end of the battle, Natsu and Gajeel stand up, commenting that their opponents are better than they thought. Natsu tells Sting that he saw through all of his habits, including the timing of the attacks and defensive body positions, much to the shock of Sting and Rogue. Natsu and Gajeel argue over the details of Sting's attack, with Natsu pushing Gajeel on a track cart and making it move, causing the usual motion sickness to prevent him from interfering. Natsu tells his opponents that he needs to pay them back for looking down on them. He tells them that he is enough to defeat them, asking his opponents if they are fired up as well.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 485: Doki Doki
Ukita asks Kenichi for advice on how to make a girl like him, thinking that his experiences of living with Miu can yield tips on how to act normally around a girl. Kenichi confesses that he and Miu have yet to go out on a date. Nishima suddenly joins in the conversation, telling them not to make a fool of themselves in the date and just act like their normal selves. After refusing to join Nishima's invitation to join the group's activities, Ukita tells Kenichi that he is nervous about the date the following day, with Kenichi wishing him luck. The next day, Ukita rushes to the meeting place, where Takeda, Kisara and Freya are waiting for him. Ukita is surprised to find that Kisara is wearing a skirt for the date. Kisara realizes that she can't kick with the skirt, regretting listening to Miu's advice about the apparel choice. Miu, who was excited at the thought of a double date among her friends, convinced her to wear something different, since Ukita had been planning the date and Freya even bought new clothes. Kisara finds that it's difficult to move as she normally does because of the skirt and the shoes, tripping on her feet. As she thinks that it's not too bad to be caught and saved by Ukita, Shiratori suddenly arrives and catches her. The group finally heads off to bowl, where Ukita finds that Shiratori has preempted his every move. They then head to karaoke, where they admire Freya's singing voice. Ukita asks Kisara to sing a duet with her, but Shiratori volunteers in her stead. The group leaves the karaoke place and is seen by Takeda's master James Shiba, who thinks that Takeda has gotten interested in dating. Shiba finds himself being hounded by loan sharks that he owes money from and he throws one of them towards Takeda, who automatically punches. Shiba tells Takeda to show his friends his cool side. The loan sharks declares that Shiba's friends are also their enemies and the group ends up fighting as well. Ukita, meaning to protect Kisara, is once again upstaged by Shiratori, who makes the first move.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 486: Each to their Own Motives
Shiratori kicks one of the loan sharks down, earning the approval of Takeda and Freya. He takes down another loan shark, prompting Ukita to realize that Shiratori is using the same taekwondo moves as Kisara. Shiratori declares that he is Kisara's white shadow, vowing to destroy everything that gets in Kisara's path. Takeda notes that Shiratori has completely copied Kisara's martial art moves. Ukita is dismayed to find that Kisara is enjoying Shiratori's display, turning to Shiba and complaining about ruining the date. Freya dispatches some goons on her own, telling Ukita to stay out of the way or he might get knifed again. Kisara decides to join in the fray, but is hampered when she became conscious of showing too much with her skirt. Kisara and Ukita end up back to back as their friends dispatch the enemies, with Kisara telling Ukita that she will protect him. Rimi is in the midst of her training in the mountains under the tutelage of Ogata. Ogata commends her progress with just one day of training, but asks why she is wearing gym clothes. Rimi answers that it's because Ogata asked her to wear clothes that are easy to move in, but also confesses that she thought the clothes would entice Ryuuto, prompting Ogata to make her go through another round of training exercise. Rimi wills herself to become faster, keeping Miu in mind, as Ogata watches her progress. Ukita returns to his old dojo to train, which makes his old master happy. On his way home, he notices Miu and accidentally touches her shoulder, causing her to throw him over her shoulder. Ukita and Miu discuss the date's events, with Ukita stating that while Kenichi is willing to risk life and limb for Miu, he himself is unable to protect Kisara. Ukita sadly notes that he is not qualified to go out with Kisara, but Miu counters by asking if one really needs to be qualified to love someone. Miu shares that while she was happy that Kenichi decided to become a martial artist to protect her, she would still be happy even if he quit practicing martial arts. Ukita thanks Miu for her words. Rimi asks Ogata if aiming to move up in the martial arts world because of love is an impure motive. Ogata replies that any source of motivation is nothing to be ashamed of and that she should believe in the killing fist.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 198: Fallen Devil
Keima and Elsie rush towards the girl as she fell. Keima recognizes her, but his attention is caught by the orb that lay beside the girl. Elsie's panic is disrupted by her sensor, which suddenly started alarming. The girl suddenly gets up and comments that she is still alive. Keima is convinced that she is the one that Tenri told him to save. Elsie wonders if the sensor went off because the girl has a runaway spirit inside of her, prompting Keima to wonder if he has to conquer her. The girl gets up and brings the orb with her. Keima quickly decides not to let her out of their sights and that he has to make a connection with her. Keima calls her attention by asking her to look at the orb and commenting that it's the same as the orb that she's holding. He asks if she knows what it is. The girl looks at the orb in her hand and answers that she doesn't know what it is. The orb in Keima's hand suddenly lights up and the girl suddenly faints. The girl suddenly ages backwards, turning into a baby, reminding Keima of his dream at the school. One of the vertical lines on the orb in Keima's hand suddenly disappears. The goddesses watch the events during the present time and watch the image wink out. They notice the disturbance in space time, indicating Keima's failure that caused the insurance to come into play. They realize that the orb is preventing the events in the past to change the future. Apollo complains that they should have told Keima the rules, since the mission is really important, but she is reminded that it's vital not to tell Keima everything according to Tenri. Tenri expresses confidence that Keima will succeed and that they should just wait for him to return to his body in the present. Keima suddenly finds himself back in front of his house, with Elsie exclaiming that he is a child. When his mother called for him, Keima realizes that he is back to where they started in the past. He notices that the orb is missing one line, realizing that he is returned to that exact point in time. Thinking that he knows more of the rules, he asks his mom that they go straight to sleep and decide to just conquer the girl like he has in the past. He concludes that if he fails to conquer the girl, a line is removed from the orb and he begins anew. After his mother falls asleep, he meets Elsie and ask her to take him to the Akanemaru, thinking that he will definitely save the girl.
