Naruto  Chapter 588: Bearing the Shadow
Itachi removes Kabuto's eyeglasses, declaring that the Edo Tensei will end and the dead who are controlled by Kabuto will disappear.  Sasuke asks if he will also disappear, and Itachi answers that since he has once again protected Konoha, he no longer has any attachments to the world.  Sasuke demands to know why Itachi still wants to protect Konoha after what has been done to him, declaring that he can't forgive the village even if Itachi does.  He further tells Itachi that he is the one who turned Sasuke the way he is.  Itachi, thinking about Naruto, tells his brother that Itachi is no longer the one who can change Sasuke.  Itachi tells Sasuke that lifting the Edo Tensei is the least that he can do to keep from further slighting what he left in Naruto's hands.  Itachi opens Kabuto's eyes and uses the sharingan to learn how to stop the Edo Tensei.  Meanwhile, the Kages continue to struggle against their fight with Madara and are nearing defeat.  When the Raikage is in the throes of the Susa'ano, the Tsuchikage is able to save him by using a weighted stone.  The Tsuchikage rallies the other Kages, reminding them that Naruto entrusted the battle with Madara to them and that they promised they would win.  He reminds everyone that all of the shinobi under them trusted them and in their abilities as Kages.  Madara recognizes that the Tsuchikage is the biggest threat, deciding to break the old man's heart to stop him.  The Kages prepare for a final joint attack, unleashing the Jinton-Genkai Hakuri no Jutsu.  By combining their elements, the Kages are able to cover Madara with sand and a seal, prompting Madara to acknowledge that they are worthy of being called Kages.  Madara decides to use his full power and unleashes the Susa'ano Perfect Form to retaliate.

Bleach  Chapter 494: The Closing Chapter Part One
The Vandenreich begins their assault in Soul Society, sending its inhabitants in a frenzy.  The shinigami rush outside and are struck with a vision of pillars of light appearing in various parts of Soul Society.  They realize that the pillars are actually made up of blue flames that are composed of incredible spiritual density.  Rukia rushes to the base of one of the pillars, knowing that the enemy officers could be there.  Yamamoto declares that he is leaving to engage the enemy, ordering the 1st division 3rd seat Okikiba Genshirou to protect the headquarters.  The 3rd division's Vice Captain Kira is already waiting at the base of a pillar, waiting for word from Spirit Particle Inspection Squad.  Kira asks the 3rd seat of his division, Togakushi Rikuu, if he thinks that the Quincy are inside the pillar.  They are accompanies by 5th seat Gori Taketsuna and 6th seat Katakura Asuka.  The Spirit Particle Inspection Squad finally confirms that the pillar contains the Quincy, just as a silhouette appears within the pillar.  The shinigami move to attack, but a burst of energy suddenly shoots at them from the pillar straight at Kira, removing his right arm and half his torso.  Togakushi, Gori and Katakura attempt to attack in return, but are immediately taken down.  The Quincy removes his hood, apologizing and stating that they were ordered to kill everyone.  More Quincy step out of the pillars of light, with one of them announcing that the shinigami should fear them, as the Stern Ritter will purify them all.  Meanwhile, 12th division's Akon receives reports of the appearance of the enemy's spiritual presence, and the disappearance of the spiritual presence of Kira and the other seated members of the 3rd division.  With the report of already 1000 deaths in seven minutes, Akon silently thinks that they can't win.  Ichigo continues his battle with Kirge.

One Piece  Chapter 669: Mission Start
It is revealed that Zoro, Sanji in Nami's body and Brook actually survived the attack by the Yeti Cool Brothers, and are arguing whether they were actually ambushed or not.  The three had actually come across the giant footprints of the Yeti Cool Brother, which they followed until they reached the end of the cliff.  They realized that there were shadowy figures behind them, who shot at them with gas that made them sleepy.  The Yeti Cool Brothers shoot the edge of the cliff off, causing the three to fall straight down, where icy spikes wait for them.  Zoro was able to slash through the spikes before he himself lost consciousness.  The three remained asleep until Caesar's men came to collect them.  Sanji in Nami's body woke up to beat the men and woke up his other companions.  The three finally reach the location where Brook found the samurai's torso, and found the samurai head and legs frozen in the ground.  The samurai explains that he suddenly felt stiff, which means that his torso might be submerged in water.  The Straw Hat Pirates discuss how they can get the samurai's torso out of the water, prompting the latter to ask why they want to help him.  Sanji in Nami's body answers that the samurai is their responsibility, but that they will fight once the samurai's body is complete.  The samurai, while still shocked at the answer, finally utters words of gratitude.  They encounter Brownbeard's men, who are running away from the monster unleashed by Mone and Caesar.  Zoro comments that there seems to be the shadow of the mountain by the lakeshore.  It is revealed that the slime monster is the gas that was emitted from the chemical weapon that exploded in Punk Hazard, and was compressed by Caesar to turn it into a monster.  Led by Smoker in Tashigi's body and Tashigi in Smoker's body, the G5 Marines are finally able to commandeer a ship, attempting to enter the laboratory.  Meanwhile, Trafalgar and Chopper arrive at the rear entrance of Caesar's lab, where they discuss their plans so Chopper can investigate the drugs used on the children.  The two watch as something crashes onto the Marine's ship, revealing that the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates ended up crashing at the wrong place.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!  Chapter 387: Reborn's Doubt
Bermuda asks Reborn to join him in his quest to defeat Checker Face.  Reborn asks why Bermuda didn't ask Colonello or Fon, who are also strong, instead.  Bermuda replies that one of the reasons is how Reborn taught Tsuna to become the Vongola boss, somehow leading Tsuna to win against opponents much stronger than he was.  Bermuda became convinced when Tsuna was finally able to achieve a level of strength that can threaten even the Vindice.  He also mentioned that it was Reborn's words that gave Chrome the strength to help Mukuro during the battle.  Bermuda also noted that Reborn only released his curse during the battle not to fight, but to help someone grow.  Reborn asks who Bermuda really is and why he is the only one with a clear pacifier.  Bermuda replies that he was also supposed to end up like the Vindice, but was able to hold on to the power of the pacifier.  Despite the fact that Checker Face had actually removed the power of the pacifier, leaving him with an empty one, Bermuda was able to harness the Flame of the Night, Daemon Spade's flame, in his empty pacifier.  He later taught other survivors and formed the Vindice.  When asked why he chose to be a guardian of the Mafia, Bermuda replies that the pacifiers are connected to the Vongola and Mare rings, forming the important Trinisette.  Because of the connection, Bermuda decided to watch over the Mafia in order to eventually get a hold of Checker Face.  Reborn asks what will happen to the current Arcobaleno when Checker Face is defeated.  Bermuda bluntly replies that they will die, since to destroy Check Face would mean that the pacifiers will also be destroyed.  He also tells them that he and the Vindice will die as well.  Tsuna declares that he can't allow a plan of revenge that would end up with Reborn and the others dying.  Tsuna tells Bermuda that he will not let the Vindice win the representative battle and that he will find another way.  Jager attacks Tsuna, but Reborn shoots him.  Bermuda apologizes for his companion's hotheadedness.  Reborn gives his answer to Bermuda, declaring that he will follow Tsuna's will.  Bermuda then asks if Reborn and Tsuna think that they will be able to go back to the others.

Fairy Tail  Chapter 285: "MPF"
Erza triumphs over the Pandemonium challenge of the Dai-Matou Enbu, reminding everyone of her previous status as the strongest female mage of Fairy Tail and one of the strongest in Fiore.  The commentators are speechless and Doranbolt has tears in his eyes at the sight of her victory over 100 evil monsters, gaining 10 points for Fairy Tail team A.  Erza's teammates congratulate her, while her opponents in Pandemonium can only express their disbelief, awe, admiration or misgiving.  The other teams start reconsidering on opinion about Fairy Tail.  Since the other teams still have to be ranked for their points, the game organizer reveals "MPF", which will gauge the numerical value of their magic powers, thus showing how they will be ranked and given points.  Millianna gets 365, Novally gets 124, Hibiki gets 95, Obra gets 4, Orga gets 3825 and Jura gets 8544.  Everyone is concerned when it's Cana's turn, when Cana is obviously drunk.  Cana removes her jacket, revealing the mark of the Fairy Glitter, which Mavis lent to Cana in order to win, enhancing her own magical strength.  Cana unleashes Fairy Glitter, releasing so much power she is lifted off her feet.  The audience and other teams are in shock, while the Fairy Tail guild members celebrate.  The power Cana released maxed out the MPF and she is able to get a rating of 9999.  The Fairy Tail teams A and B end the round in the first and second place, respectively.  Cana announces that Fairy Tail is unstoppable.  Meanwhile, Alexei receives the matchup for the battle portion of the day, and Raven Tail prepares themselves for their real objective in joining the Dai-Matou Enbu.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi  Chapter 475: Tenacity Towards Martial Arts
Everyone is shocked when Hongo suddenly regains consciousness despite his near death state and proceeds to attack Jenazad, who responds by skewering Hongo's sides with his hands.  Despite gaining yet another injury, Hongo just smiles.  Jenazad tries to affirm that his attack hit vital organs, only to realize that Hongo had used Naizouage to move his organs and is actually able to trap his arms.  As he watches Hongo's attack moving towards him, Jenazad is reminded of his past when his master praised his fighting prowess, but told him that he will be defeated by an opponent only because of tenacity towards martial arts.  Jenazad suddenly relaxes his body in order to release his arms from Hongo's hold, but is once again surrounded by the Inyo Kyoukuha Nukite.  Once again, Jenazad has to think fast in order to determine which arm possesses the entire attack power.  As he analyzes the situation in his mind, he realizes that Hongo might have planned for the exact moment when he can use the ability again, causing him difficulty to make a prediction.  Realizing that Hongo's right arm is too damaged, Jenazad blocks it.  It is revealed that Jenazad guessed wrong, and he receives the full brunt of Hongo's attack on his torso.  Jenazad commends Hongo's tenacity towards martial arts.

The World God Only Knows  Chapter 190: Distant Thunder
The goddesses convene to enjoy some snacks, but Diana remind them that they can't be having snacks when there are other pressing concerns.  Diana breaches the subject of Katsuragi, since all of the goddesses' hosts have fallen in love with the gaming otaku.  The goddesses discuss how they are going to decide who will become Katsuragi's lover, since they can't possibly allow that he six time their hosts.  During their argument, they turn to Diana, who also fell in love with Katsuragi herself.  Mercury wakes up to join the conversation, telling them that they will have to wait until Katsugai returns from his journey to further discuss the issue.  Mercury also tells them that their arguments are invalid since Katsuragi is already married to Ayumi, which the others vehemently protest.  Katsuragi is at the seaside park, where he finds his childhood self holding a console while asleep on the ship.
