Naruto  Chapter 583: Who is this?
Kabuto's story of the past continues.  Under the direction of the nun who took him in, Kabuto and the others help heal shinobi during the war to earn money for the orphanage.  He heals Orochimaru, who encourages him to become a shinobi because of his medical ninjutsu.  Danzo visits the orphanage to talk to the nun, who used to be called Nonou, a former elite intelligence agent.  Despite her declaration of no longer being involved in her own life, Danzo and his companions, who include Orochimaru, consult her about the plans of Iwagakure, and tells her to go to a mission to Iwagakure to determine if the intel they received is true.  The priest and other nun complain that Nonou is important to the orphanage, but Danzo tells them that she's the only one capable of executing the mission.  Danzo tells them that if she refuses, Konoha will no longer pay the orphanage to keep it running.  Nonou agrees to perform the mission, as it is revealed that Kabuto is listening outside the window.  Danzou also asks that one of the children will be given to him to replace a subordinate and to get the information from Nonou.  Kabuto decides to volunteer, despite the protests of Nonou and the other orphans.  Kabuto goes through the training and performs his role as a spy, infiltrating many other villages through the years.  He is surrounded during one of the missions and he remembers about the others at the orphanage.  A shinobi attacks him, who he is able to wound with a counter attack.  He realizes that the shinobi is Nonou who is still on the mission and heals her with his medical ninjutsu.  But he soon realizes that Nonou, known in that land as Nanigashi, doesn't recognize him anymore.  Kabuto escapes and realizes that he also no longer recognize himself as he stares at his reflection in the water.  As he question who he is, Orochimaru rises from the water and tells him that he remembers Kabuto.

Bleach  Chapter 489: March of the StarCross
Rukia, now the Vice Captain of the 13th division, paces impatiently, as she and the other Vice Captains wait for the Captains to finish their meeting.  Kira arrives and expresses his need to discuss the recent events with the other Vice Captains, wanting to relay how he feels that the invasion, hollow disappearance and Rukongai citizen disappearance are all inter-connected.  Kira asks if any of the divisions investigated past district 50, to which Yachiru confirms that the 11th division had in fact investigated district 64.  Kira asks about the footprints, and is unsurprised to hear that the prints were of bare feet and sandals.  He tells the others that the districts beyond district 50 are in poverty, which means that all of the citizens went barefoot and that the sandaled feet must belong to shinigami.  Kira asks Nemu if Captain Mayuri is hiding anything, and declares that he will report his assessment to the Captains.  Meanwhile, Nel is shocked at the sight of the Tres Bestias's defeat.  Kirge expresses surprise at seeing an Arrancar with a shinigami, but tells them that he knows who Ichigo is.  Kirge tells him that they received high priority orders to capture Ichigo as a special weapon, which prompts the remaining Iacto Arme soldiers to rush at Ichigo.  Before Ichigo can react, he notices that the soldiers move differently, which reminds him of Ishida's Hirenkyaku.  Ichigo demands to know if they were members of the Quincy, which Kirge confirms to be true.  The enemy king receives the intel report that Ichigo has arrived in Hueco Mundo and is engaged in battle with Kirge.  The king gives the command to move the army, now that Ichigo is busy with Kirge.  He gives the command to notify Shternritter.  He also gives the command to mobilize their attack against Soul Society.  Meanwhile, Captain Mayuri reports to Captain Yamamoto that he ordered his division to exterminate 28,000 Rukongai residents to level the soul balance.  Captain Yamamoto comments that he shouldn't have acted without orders and that his division's research isn't fast enough, which Mayuri denies and reminds Yamamoto that he warned him after Ishida's participation in the infiltration of Soul Society to rescue Rukia.  Mayuri tells Yamamoto that he was the one who invited all of the events that occurred, when Yamamoto failed to kill one man, referring to the Vandenreich leader.

One Piece  Chapter 664: Master Caesar Clown
The Smoker and Tashigi discuss the events with the Marines, who are distracted by the effects of the personality switch of their leaders.  Tashigi, in Smoker's body, tells everyone about the reports of missing children in that area of the sea, where child deaths are also rampant.  She tells them that the kidnappings were usually written off as accidents or other mishaps by the G5 Marines.  With the appearance of the children on the island, Smoker notes that Tashigi is implying that the culprit behind the kidnappings is on Punk Hazard and that somebody from the G5 is making false reports to cover the kidnappings.  Since his body and heart is pinned down to the island, Smoker can't leave.  So he commands some of the Marines to steal the enemy ship to report their situation to the Marine HQ, while he plans how to steal back his body and heart.  Caesar Clown finishes his call on the den den mushi and tells his soldiers that they received the confirmation to kill the Straw Hat Pirates, which will be attributed as an accident in another ocean by Joker.  Caesar tells them to capture as many specimens as they can, even if they have to kill them with poison gas.  Mone tells them about the collective 800 million beli bounty on the group, and reminds her companions that they might stronger after their two year hiatus.  The centaurs arrive, reporting that the Straw Hat Pirates stole their coats and kidnapped their leader Boss Brownbeard.  Caesar prepares to give the centaurs a serum that he claims can heal and warm them.  Meanwhile, Usopp places markings on the switched members to avoid confusion, while Luffy converses with Brownbeard.  Brownbeard tells Luffy that he hates Luffy's generation of pirates, who wreaked havoc after Whitebeard's death.  He also tells them about the history of Punk Hazard, which used to be an island with lush greenery that was destroyed by a failed experiment by Vegapunk.  The government left behind the prisoners they experimented on, who took refuge in one of the last few upright facilities.  Unfortunately, some of the prisoners are paralyzed from the waist down because of the nerve gas.  They all lost hope until Caesar arrived and helped them regain mobility, until Law came and used his ability to connect their bodies to animal legs.  Brownbeard tells them that the Straw Hat Pirates will be used by Caesar as specimens to help save the world.  Meanwhile, one of Brownbeard's men is suffering from the effects of Caesar's drug and is subsequently destroyed by Caesar.  It is revealed that the experiment that destroyed Punk Hazard was actually Caesar's.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!  Chapter 382: The Power of the Vindice
The flames die down to reveal three disfigured humans, with each one wearing a pacifier on their necks.  As the rest express their shock at the physical appearance of the Vindice, Verde focuses on the stone pacifiers hanging down their necks.  One of the Vindice praises the allied teams of Reborn and Verde for being able to rip off their clothing.  Reborn asks if they're not human and where they got their pacifiers, which look like an Arcobaleno's pacifier.  The Vindice replies that they can't answer without Bermuda's permission.  Verde asks if Bermuda is in collusion with Checker-face, but one of the Vindice adamantly denies that Bermedu would ever agree to such an alliance, adding that Bermuda is the only one worthy of becoming an Arcobaleno.  The Vindice resume their attack.  Yamamoto makes his move but is thrown back despite executing a powerful move.  Gokudera, Ken and Chikusa are caught in chains by the other two Vindice.  The others realize that the Vindice are stronger this time around.  Tsuna plans to lure the Vindice to Mukuro, who will finish them off.  Mukuro asks about Flan, who still won't wake up.  Mukuro unleashes Genjuu Gagaia again, but the monster birds are easily disposed of by the Vindice.  Verde laments that if Flan can combine his powers with Mukuro, the Genjuu Gagaia would be stronger.  With the members of the allied Teams Reborn and Verde incapacitated or overwhelmed, it would seem that their defeat is inevitable.  Suddenly, someone offers to add to Mukuro's illusion.  Mukuro tells everyone that she will fight, too.  Everyone is shocked, with some expressing concern about her physical condition.  Reborn tells them that Chrome is his representative.
