Naruto Chapter 582: Nothing
Sasuske wonders about the Izanami, which Kabuto says will not work on him. Kabuto shows them the nature of his power and controls the cave's stones, revealing that he can also control things that aren't alive. Itachi protects Sasuke with Susa'ano, which slowed him down enough to get stabbed by the morphed stalactites and stalagmites. Kabuto moves to overwrite and regain control of Itachi's mind, but Sasuke stops him by using Amaterasu to block his path and the Amaterasu's flames also cause the stones to return to normal, which releases Itachi, who apologizes to Sasuke. Kabuto tells them that they can't win, and that with Orochimaru's knowledge and ability to change himself makes him closer to the Hermit of the Six Paths than anyone else. Itachi tells him that Kabuto reminds him of his old self and how being a spy affected him, which will be the reason why Kabuto will lose. He tells Kabuto that only those who who can acknowledge themselves will prevail. Kabuto's past is revealed, starting with a group of people finding him as a young boy with no memory of his life, his parents or even his name. The group's lone adult is a nun, who heals him and eventually names him Kabuto. The nun, along with their group's other nun and priest, realize that Kabuto has bad eyesight, and the nun gives him glasses. Kabuto talks about how his name is a code and that the glasses were a tool. He tells Itachi and Sasuke that he had nothing.
Bleach Chapter 488: Bond Behind Blast
The appearance of Harribel's fraccion is disrupted by the sudden argument between Mila Rose and Appaci, causing Sun-Sun to directly challenge Kirge Opie. Ichigo races towards the direction where the Arrancars and hollows were herded by the Iacto Arme members, when a sudden explosion occurred ahead. Ichigo is surprised when Nel appeared on his back, telling him that the explosion was caused by the reiatsu of Tres Bestia or the Three Beasts, which is the name of Harribel's fraccion. Nel tells him that the three are incredibly strong and always fight with each other at the same time. The Tres Bestia defeat the Iacto Arme members, until Kirge is left. Kirge offers them a proposition to surrender and join the king's army, so he doesn't have to execute them. The three refuse, which Kirge notes as a pity. Division 12's Akon makes his report regarding the rebellion of the Vandenreich to the captains. Captain Mayuri then confirms to everyone that the rebels are actually the Quincy. Captain Yamamoto asks where their headquarters are, which Mayuri is unable to confirm. Captain Yamamoto commands everyone to prepare for the battle. After another large explosion, Nel tries to convince Ichigo not to proceed anymore, since the Tres Bestia are already dealing with the enemy. They arrive at the scene and saw that Kirge has easily defeated the Tres Bestia. Kirge acknowledges Ichigo's arrival.
One Piece Chapter 663: CC
Luffy greets Trafalgar, who he says was the one who saved him from Whitebeard's war and healed his wounds. He tells the others that just like Jinbei, he owes his life to Trafalgar. Trafalgar tells Luffy not to feel indebted and that he just acted on a whim. The boss centaur asks for Trafalgar's help, when the Marines return and the Straw Hat Pirates realize that Smoker is lying on the ground. Tashigi sees the hole on Smoker's chest and remembers that Trafalgar once sent 100 Marine's hearts to the HQ. Angered, Tashigi moves to attack, but is quickly incapacitated by Trafalgar. The Straw Hat Pirates decide to leave the scene, with Luffy shouting that he wants to ask Trafalgar something. Trafalgar tells him to go to the back of the research facility to find what he's looking for. He also tells Luffy that they will meet again, because they both have something that they want to get back. The Marines are in confusion as they try to revive their two leaders, while shooting at the the leaving Straw Hat pirates. Meanwhile, the group of Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Franky try to lead the kids to safety. They also try to deal with their switched personalities, with Sanji in Nami's body, Nami in Franky's body, Franky in Chopper's body, and Chopper in Sanji's body. The kids start to feel the effects of the freezing cold, which prompts the samurai's head to command that they place an item on top of their heads. The others follow his orders and the samurai says the word "poof", and suddenly everyone is wearing coats and shoes. He reveals that he once ate a devil's fruit, which caused him to develop powers of sorcery, and warns them that the coats and shoes will disappear if they are taken off. The others berate him for not performing the sorcery earlier. Luffy and the others arrive, and the Straw Hat Pirates are finally reunited. The samurai is reunited with his legs. Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Franky explain their situation, which cracks up Luffy and Usopp, and tell them about the samurai's role in their situation. The Marines try to gain their bearings, with both Smoker and Tashigi devoid of their hearts and suffering from a personality switch. Based on the observation that a ship on the island has the initials CC carved on it, Smoker, in Tashigi's body, surmises that the main culprit is the former bounty hunter, mass murder weapons expert and Dr. Vegapunks former colleague, Caesar Clown.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 381: Fighting Together!
Tsuna and Mukuro decide to team up against the three Vindice, combining the forces of Team Reborn and Team Verde. All the members decide to work together if they want to stand a chance against three members of the Vindice. Gokudera and Ken start with a combo attack that incorporates Ken's Kong form to release the 10 Times Bomb. Then Ken propels Yamamoto, so the latter can perform the Super Glide, followed by an attack by Chikusa that unleashed needles on the Vindice. Tsuna flies past with the Hyper X Stream that made the Vindice catch fire. Tsuna tells Mukuro to finish the Vindice. Mukuro decides to use the technique he originally intended to use on Tsuna, a real monster illusion called Genjuu Gagaia that unleashes hundreds of black birds with teeth. The birds flock towards the Vindice to eat them. Reborn notes that it's not just an illusion, to which Verde comments is actually reality born from illusion. An explosion occurs, which Mukuro notes is because he still hasn't adjusted the illusion properly, so it came out to powerful. Much to everyone's shock, they see the Vindice are still standing among the flames. They notice that the Vindice no longer have their hats and coats, which reminds everyone that nobody knows what's under their bandaged facades. The flames die down to reveal three scary looking people, two men and a woman. What shocks Team Reborn and Team Verde is that all three are wearing pacifiers.
Fairy Tail Chapter 279: The Gateway Hidden in Darkness
Some of the members of Fairy Tail gather in the infirmary to congratulate Elfman, who is recovering from the wounds he received during the fight with Bacchus. Since he will take time to recover, it is decided that Wendy can reclaim her place in the team. Porylusca tells everyone to return to the arena to watch the next battles to learn about their opponents, while the Raijinshuu are on guard at the infirmary. As the Fairy Tail guild members walk back to the arena, they discuss the recent kidnapping attempt, with Charle deducing that it seems unlikely that Raven Tail would use a bandit group when they have a member that can reduce a person's magical power easily. The others think that Charle might be overthinking things, but her thoughts are on the dark premonition and that Lucy might really be the target. The third battle of the day is announced between Fairy Tail B's Mirajane and Blue Pegasus's Jenny Realight. Much to the delight of Makarov and the male spectators, the two participate in a swimsuit pose battle using their transformation magic, with the announcers acting as the judging panel. The two quickly change from one swimsuit and theme to another, until it is decided that the next swimsuit will be the deciding factor. Jenny challenges Mirajane to a bet wherein the loser will appear nude in The Weekly Sorcerer magazine, causing Lysanna to worry and the spectating men to have bleeding noses at the same time. Mirajane agrees to the wager, much to the delight of Jenny, who is confident of her victory. Jenny transforms into her battle form, while Mirajane transforms into her demon Sitri form, which is the strongest Satan form. Mirajane tells Jenny that she has accepted the wager and would like Jenny to acknowledge her strength. Mirajane attacks Jenny, which turned the battle back to one of based on strength, and wins the battle, the 10 points and the wager for Jenny to appear nude in the magazine. The Minister of Defense Datong approaches Arcadia, telling him that trying to kidnap Lucy was too premature. Arcadia tells him that the Eclipse can already be used and that they just need a stellar mage to use it. Arcadia tells Datong that despite his objections to their project, it will push through for the sake of their king and country, even if it means that he becomes either a god or demon. Arcadia also tells him that for the sake of the Eclipse, which is the gateway to change the world, the life of one girl is cheap.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 470: Checkmate!!
The group watches in surprise as Hongo jumps back during his battle with Jenazad. They continue with their battle at the top of the tower, where Hongo suddenly drops to the ground without rolling. Hartini observes that Hongo seems to be avoiding something, which earns her a commendation from Sakaki. Sakaki tells Kenichi to really see with his observing eyes in order to decipher Hongo and Jenazad's movements. Kenichi finally realizes that Jenazad is moving so fast, moving from one grappling move to another while attempting to strike one vital point to another, explaining why Hongo is making evasive movements by slamming himself to the floor to avoid the deathly attacks. Sakaki adds that Hongo is being thrown to the ground without any contact to his arms and legs, which reminds him of a technique Akisame developed called "The True Breathing Throw", which doesn't require the arms to throw an opponent to the ground. Sakaki is worried after realizing that Jenazad's breathing throw is at the same level as Akisame's. Hongo strikes at an opening, which Jenazad points out is a ploy to destroy Hongo's defense. Jenazad catches Hongo's hand, and Kenichi realizes that Hongo is caught in a checkmate move. Jenazad unleashes the secret silat technique Hantou Grundown Prinis. Kenichi is relieved to see that Hongo is able to escape, but hears Jenazad comment that Hongo dislocated his own arm to escape. Jenazad immediately follows up with another attack, which Hongo escapes by dislocating his leg. Enjoying Hongo's decreased mobility, Jenazad catches him and once again performs the Hantou Grundwon Prinis, with the others watching in shock and Sakaki shouting Hongo's name.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 185: Shadow City
Tenri, along with the goddess Diana inside her, are unable to leave her house and can only hide because of the increased Vintage activity outside. Haqua engages Lune in a battle, demanding to know why Vintage is trying to create a new conflict. Haqua wounds Lune with her scythe, but Lune is able to counter by stabbing Haqua on the shoulder with her cutter. Haqua crashes on a roof's building, with Lune quickly following to try to stab her again. Katsuragi and Chihiro check Ayumi's location, which is at the seaside park, worrying Katsuragi that Ayumi went to a location close to the Vintage hideout. As they head out, a passing man on a bicycle accidentally make them let go of each other, causing Katsuragi and Chihiro to become invisible to one another. Chihiro calls out to Katsuragi, and two Vintage members suddenly appear. Suddenly, Katsuragi embraces her and tells her to stay quiet and the Vintage eventually leave. Chihiro holds on to the embrace then suddenly tickles Katsuragi, pretending he's the one holding on to her. Chihiro continues to ask Katsuragi why he can't be honest, and Katsuragi asks her if she and Ayumi developed a strategy that led to the latter's confidence. Katsuragi tells Chihiro that he will be honest about everything, causing Chihiro to remember the identical guitar picks that she and Katsuragi shared. Nora worries about their location, but continues to watch Ayumi, who's waiting at the ship at the seaside park. Ayumi is wearing the wedding dress Katsuragi gave her, willing Katsuragi to arrive and tell her how he really feels.
