Naruto Chapter 581: Everyone's Leaf
Kabuto comments about how Sasuke is working well with Itachi, when he used to hate his brother so much. He asks Sasuke what he wants to ask a dead person, to which Sasuke replies that he wants the truth. Kabuto is surprised, realizing that Sasuke already heard about Itachi's history, which explains his decision not to return to Konoha and target the village itself. Kabuto comments that Itachi's actions were to protect Konoha, which means Sasuke went against his brother's ideals and that he should instead be on the same side of Kabuto, following Orochimaru's plans of destroying Konoha. Sasuke remembered a time when he and Tobi overheard some Konoha shinobi discussing the death of Itachi and his subsequent anger that the men talked about Itachi as a traitor. Kabuto tells them his own story about being raised as a spy then removed from missions by Konoha when he started to lose his own identity from all of the spy missions. Kabuto tells Sasuke that they were the same, thus Sasuke should join him and he will act as Sasuke's brother. Itachi warns Sasuke that Kabuto is a better liar, and that he himself will always be Konoha's shinobi. Itachi tells Sasuke that he wanted to tell him something, but that they should defeat Kabuto first. Kabuto tells them that since he disabled his eyes, their genjutsu will not work on him. Itachi tells Sasuke that the Uchiha eyes can affect all the five senses, and Sasuke remembers the Izanagi used by Danzo. Itachi tells him that he will use the ultimate eye technique, the Izanami, which decides destiny instead of just changing it.
Bleach Chapter 487: Breathe But Blind
As they travel to Hueco Mundo, Ichigo asks Uruhara why his timing was impeccable, to which the latter answers that it was because of the various suspicious occurrences, including the missing Arrancars and the strange events in Soul Society. He comments that Ichigo must have already noticed that every incident is interconnected with each other. They enter Hueco Mundo from the sky, barely escaping the notice of the enemy soldiers. Uruhara comments that the soldiers didn't investigate despite hearing the noise their fall made, because the soldiers knew that all of the Arrancars and hollows in the area are dead. The group surveys the aftermath of the massacre, with Ichigo covering Nel's eyes to prevent her from being affected. Pesche tells them that the soldiers used condensed reishi that can burn Hueco Mundo's rock and sand as a weapon, and that the ones they don't kill are dragged away. Ichigo sets off to rescue the ones captured by the soldiers, unconcerned that he will be rescuing those he used to fight as enemies before. The rest of the group follows him. Meanwhile the Iacto Arme Hunting Captain Supervisor Kirge Opie watches as his soldiers herd the prisoners forward. Two hooded figures point him out as the leader of the group of soldiers that captured them. Kirge Opie announces that they will hold a selection process, offering the Arrancars and Hollows a chance to live if they kneel and lick his shoes. After stabbing an eager Arrancar, he tries to stab at the hooded figures, but his spear is suddenly cut in half and a sword is pointed at his neck. The hooded figures reveal themselves to be Loly Aivirrne and Menoly Mallia. Kirge easily defeats them both, ordering his soldiers to beat them, but to keep them alive because they pass the test for showing guts. As he walks away, Kirge criticizes the Arrancars, mentioning that Harribel was also helpless against the king even if she was the ruler of Hueco Mundo. Suddenly, the Iacto Arme soldiers are attacked and Harribel's fraccion, Sun-Sun, Mila Rose and Appaci, appears.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 380: The 3rd Day
The countdown to the third representative battle has started, giving the participants no time to recuperate from the previous day's battle and the subsequent unauthorized attack by the Vindice. Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto head out, while Reborn tries to contact Dino. Three Vindice members appear before Team Mammon, which only counts Xanxus and Squalo as the active members. Tsuna leads everyone to the park so that they don't disturb the neighbors and they accidentally meet Mukuro. The battle officially starts with a 12 minute limit. Mukuro faces off against Tsuna and his team, when Mukuro's teammates show up, followed by three Vindice members. Mukuro refuses Verde's suggestion to team up with Team Reborn to fight the Vindice, stating that his team, Flan's powers and Verde's technology will be enough. Ken wakes up Flan, who utters the word "shinachiku" before falling back to sleep. The Vindice immediately attack Tsuna and Mukuro to destroy their boss watches. Since they are unable to wake Flan up, Mukuro finally concedes and allies with Tsuna during the battle.
Fairy Tail Chapter 278: Elfman vs. Bacchus
Natsu runs through the corridors using his sense of smell for direction, and eventually catches up to the men who hold Wendy, Charle and Porylusca captive. The culprits, fearing that Natsu would catch up to them, decide to leave Charle and Porylusca behind, since their orders were to just get the girl from the sickbay. Natsu catches up, overhears them and demands to know who's behind the abduction. Meanwhile, Elfman is unable to lay a hand on Bacchus during their battle, with his transformation magic unable to get him to land a blow on Bacchus, who is employing a combination of martial arts and magic that focuses his powers on his hands. Erza notes that Bacchus has improved on his skills and created a drunken hanging-chop fist to his movements, and that he's not even fighting seriously yet, since he has yet to drink any alcohol. Despite having to pick himself up on the ground many times, Elfman tells Bacchus that he has yet to tell him about his end of the wager. He tells Bacchus that if he wins, the Quattro Cerberus will have to be called Quattro Puppy for the rest of the Dai-Matou Enbou. Bacchus agrees, then drinks the alcohol he brought to the battle and deals Elfman 7 hits in one instant. Much to his surprise, his hands are beaten up and it is revealed that Elfman transformed into a lizardman. Elfman tells Bacchus that since he can't land a hit on him, then he challenges Bacchus to keep hitting him to see if Bacchus's hands or Elfman's lizard body would give out first. Bacchus is up for the challenge and releases a barrage of attacks on Elfman, with everyone watching in anticipation at the outcome. In the end, they are both exhausted, with Elfman releasing the lizardman form. The two are down on their knees. Bacchus says Elfman's name and stands up. Then he tells Elfman that he is a man and falls on his back. Elfman is declared the winner, gaining 10 points for Fairy Tail A for a total of 12 points. The Quattro Cerberus members realize that they would have to be called Quattro Puppy. Natsu, Wendy, Charle and Porylusca watch the victory, and they discuss the recent events. The kidnappers were taken away by the guards and have admitted that Raven Tail ordered them to do so. The four realize that their target wasn't Wendy, but was actually Lucy. Meanwhile, a soldier reports that the plan to abduct Lucy was a failure, revealing that it was actually Arcadia who ordered the kidnapping and that he intends to use Lucy's magic for the sake of the Eclipse Plan.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 184: Show Me
Ayumi demands Katsuragi to tells her that he loves her, so she would marry him. Katsuragi takes her by the shoulders and tells her that he loves her. Ayumi doesn't believe it, telling him that it wasn't heartfelt. Katsuragi continues to tells her that he loves her, with Ayumi rebuffing him and telling him that his confession isn't sincere. Ayumi's parents decide to go to sleep. Nora wonders how the conquest is going, when she sees several Vintage members heading her way. One of them strikes a spear through her and she falls to the ground, while the Vintage fly overhead. Katsuragi runs out of ways to say I love you, when Ayumi tells her that she loves him and commands him to do it properly. She then jumps off the roof, reminding him that he said that he wanted to get married with a view to the ocean and runs off. Haqua calls Nora to follow Ayumi, but received no reply. Haqua was able to catch sight of Vintage in time, hiding Chihiro and telling Katsuragi to hide in the house, and realizes that Nora might have been taken out. Nora's allies, Camry and Cresta, appear behind Haqua, telling her that they have created celestial robe clones of Katsuragi and Ayumi all over town to hinder Vintage's efforts. They also told her that Nora was actually following Ayumi, and that the speared Nora was also a celestial robe clone. They give Katsuragi and Chihiro celestial robes to make themselves invisible, and they set off to create more clones. As Katsuragi and the others leave Ayumi's house, they notice Lune behind them and she asks where they are going. Haqua tells Katsuragi and Chihiro to go ahead, saying that she will take on Lune and that he has to protect both Ayumi and Chihiro. As Katsuragi and Chihiro run through the streets invisible, Chihiro asks Katsuragi why he's acting and that he should just say his feelings properly. Katsuragi doesn't answer, as Chihiro wait for him where there is a view of the ocean.
