Naruto Chapter 580: Brotherly Time
After revealing that he has mastered the dragon sage mode, Kabuto attacks the brothers with a technique that overwhelms Itachi and Sasuke with light and sound. Kabuto tries to take advantage of their incapacitated state, but Itachi is able to move based on his assessment that Kabuto will try to capture Sasuke to stop Itachi. Kabuto tells them that their makeshift partnership will not work against him. Itachi reminds Sasuke about a time he accompanied Itachi to hunt a rampaging boar, and they were able to successfully pin down Kabuto's tail. Kabuto grabs hold of Sasuke's sword that was embedded on the cave wall and is able to stab Itachi. Itachi disperses into crows and using the sword, cuts off one of Kabuto's horns. Itachi and Sasuke stand side by side, working together as brothers in finding a way to defeat Kabuto.
Bleach Chapter 486: The Crimson Cremation
Ichigo holds Nel, asking him what happened to Hueco Mundo. Another figure drops out of the sky and Ichigo avoids Pesche, who corroborates Nel's announcement. Byakuran talks to Renji about Sasakibe, who would have ascended easily to a role of Captain but chose to stay as Yamamoto's Vice Captain. He also comments that none of them would understand the pain that Captain Yamamoto must be feeling. The signal to light the funeral pyre is given by Captain Yamamoto. Ichigo invites Inoue, Sado and Ishida to discuss Nel and Pesche's news about Hueco Mundo, where the Arrancars are being kidnapped to serve as the strange group's vanguard. Pesche tells them that Dondochakka was also kidnapped. Inoue and Sado agree to help, but Ishida opts out, since the Quincy exists to destroy Hollows. Urahara appears, offering to arrange the group's trip to Hueco Mundo. The enemies discuss how Ivan used his medallion, but could not obviously capture Ichigo's bankai. The leader comments that they need a special way to get Ichigo's power, and orders for the Iacte Arme of Hueco Mundo to be dispatched.
One Piece Chapter 662: Shichibukai Law vs. Vice Admiral Smoker
Tashigi is cut down by Trafalgar Law, demanding that she be killed properly, to which the Shichibukai replies that weaklings can't pick how they die. The G5 marines try to attack Law, who used his ability to switch the snow at their feet to bullets that they shot earlier. Smoker blocks an attack that was meant to further cut down Tashigi and using his smoke ability is able to grab hold of Law. Unfortunately, Smoker ends up touching a sea prism stone, giving Law a chance to counter, which cuts down the marine ship in half. The G5 marines carry Tashigi to safety. Boss Croctaur carries Luffy, Zoro, Robin, Usopp and Brook towards the research facility. The leader of the shady group on the island receives reports regarding Law's fight with the marines and how the prisoners, composed of the Straw Hat pirates and children, were seen by the marines. The Harpy Mone arrives to tell him that Luffy's group is on the way and that they were actually the Straw Hat Pirates. The fight between Smoker and Law continue, with Smoker demanding to know about the activities on Punk Hazard. Law uses his ability and takes Smoker's heart out of his body. As Smoker struggles to breathe, Luffy and the others arrive at the scene.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 379: Damage
The Arcobaleno leave the hospital after visiting Skull. Reborn notices fire on his way home, and finds Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto fighting against the Vindice. His appearance causes the Vindice to retreat. The other Arcobaleno meet up with their respective teams, to find them in various states of injuries because of the Vindice's surprise attack. Xanxus and Mukuro's boss watches were safe, while Iemitsu's was destroyed. Iemitsu is injured because he protected Nana, who fainted at the sight of Iemitsu's blood. Bianchi asks Reborn to make Nana forget about the attack. Reborn assures Iemitsu that Tsuna and the others are safe under Fon's watch. Iemitsu apologizes about the broken boss watch, revealing to Lal that Colonello intended to life her cursed state instead of his had their team won. Lal tells Colonello that she would have done the same for him and that his feelings give her the courage to live. Reborn tells them that the only active teams left are teams Reborn, Mammon, Verde and Bermuda. Iemitsu asks Reborn not to tell Tsuna about his injury, so his concentration isn't broken. All of the remaining teams discuss the events and prepare to rest for the night. Midnight strikes and they all receive an announcement that they have a minute until the start of the next battle.
Fairy Tail Chapter 277: Socks
Natsu is finally able to get two points for Fairy Tail team A, but is incapacitated because of extreme motion sickness. Lucy visits the infirmary briefly to check in on Natsu and Wendy. When she leaves, Porylusca asks Charle if she really won't tell Lucy about her premonition, but Charle denies it by saying that what she saw was a dream. The 2nd day's battle rounds start, with Raven Tail's Kurohebi and Lamia Scale's Toby Horhorta pitted against each other. Lucy joins the others to watch and notices Flare, who has bruises on her face from being beaten by their guild master. Kurohebi defeats Toby with his mimicry magic. He also wins the wager and Toby tells him his super secret, which is the fact that his sock has been missing for three months. Kurohebi points out that the sock was hanging from his neck all along, then takes the sock and rips it apart. Kurohebi declares that the more precious an item is, the more he wants to destroy it. The second battle is about to start. The King of Fiore arrive to join Arcadia, expressing his excitement about the match between Bacchus and Erza. Arcadia is surprised, saying that he didn't understand that the king meant Erza, since he only indicated that the Fairy Tail member was the one who transforms. It is announced that Bacchus will fight Elfman. Elfman is pegged as the eventual loser, but he faces off against Bacchus. Bacchus suggests a wager that if he wins, he will get Mirajane and Lysanna for the night, angering Elfman. Natsu wakes up at the infirmary, only to find that Porylusca, Wendy and Charle are no longer there. He also notices the scent of an unfamiliar person.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 469: Front Kick
Hongo and Jenazad battle vertically along the wall of the tower, with Sakaki willing Hongo not to die. Jenazad is able to move more freely along the wall, as opposed to Hongo who had to plant his feet into the wall. The disadvantage worries Kenichi and the others, but Hongo is able to stand his ground and counter with powerful attacks. Sakaki notes that Hongo is using basic, yet powerful, karate moves to meet the more flamboyant attacks by Jenazad. Jenazad scoffs at the simplicity of Hongo's attack and moves in to attack Hongo, who surprises him by changing to a more complicated attack that finally lands on Jenazad. Menang silently notes that Hongo is skilled, but pales in comparison to the maddening skill displayed by Jenazad. Suddenly, Hongo moves back from his position in response to a change in Jenazad's fighting stance.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 183: Embracing Tonight
Much to Chihiro's dismay, Katsuragi sticks to his conquest plan. Katsuragi, with a white horse in tow and outfitted to look like a prince, asks Ayumi to come with him. Ayumi replies by asking Katsuragi to marry him, which is actually a dare meant to show his insincerity. Much to her surprise, Katsuragi accepts and countering with his own dare. Ayumi drags him into her home and introduces Katsuragi as her future husband. Katsuragi plays along, declaring that he wanted to show that he was polite to Ayumi's parents. He further tells them that he intended to marry Ayumi, because he stole her "first time", which causes an uproar. Ayumi's father is protesting the news, with her mother trying to mediate. Suddenly, the ground shakes, which Haqua feels is not a regular earthquake and thinks may be the work of Vintage. Once the tremors stop, Ayumi asks if Katsuragi is alright out of concern. Ayumi's father continue to chase Katsuragi, who ends up on the roof with Ayumi. He declares that he will propose and produces a wedding dress using Haqua's celestial robe. Katsuragi tells Ayumi that she is his first and final heroine, and asks her to marry him. Ayumi answers yes, telling him that despite his many flaws, she actually trusts him. Ayumi asks Katsuragi if he loves her, stating that if she will believe him if he actually says the words.
