Peps' Reading List: Weekly Manga Update

Here's this week's manga update from my reading list.

Naruto  Chapter 575: Stone Will
The five Kages continue to battle Madara.  The Kages struggle as Madara unleashes one powerful attack after the next, revealing that he can also use the first Hokage's wood element power.  As the Kages drop to the ground, the Tsuchikage remembers a scene from his younger days, when the old Tsuchikage used to make him polish a stone as a lesson about his inner will.  Remembering his fight with Madara during his younger days, he unleashes a strong jutsu in time to counter Madara's attack and save the other Kages.  As the Kages regain consciousness, they notice that the face of the first Hokage is on Madara's chest, revealing that Orochimaru had merged the two in order for Madara to use the first Hokage's mokuton.  Sasuke continues to travel to the battlefield and encounters Itachi, who is on his way to Kabuto.

Bleach  Chapter 482: Bad Recognition
Ivan refuses Ichigo's order to get off his bed, but is forcefully thrown out the window after Ichigo kicks him.  After the others speculate that he looked like an Arrancar, Ichigo follows after him while Ryuunosuke and Shino cower in a corner, and the others decide to finish eating the bread Inoue brought with her.  Ichigo tells Ivan to follow him and asks him questions about why he was in Karakura town.  Ivan denies that he is an Arrancar and brings out a pendant, which turns into a weapon.  Meanwhile, in District 64 East "Sabitura" in Rokungai, Ikkaku and Yumichika find that all of the inhabitants have disappeared.  A member of the 11th division reports that there are no signs of anyone in the area, and shows them a spot where there are many footprints.  After noticing the type of footprints in the dirt, Ikkaku and Yumichika surmise that a member of the village is responsible for the disappearance and dispatches the shinigami to look for more clues.  Captain Yamamoto is receiving reports, when a group of masked men appears and announces that they are declaring war.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!  Chapter 374: Hibari Kyouya vs Xanxus
Dino saves Hibari from Xanxus's attack, revealing that he was commanded by Reborn to help if Hibari was on the verge of losing.  Hibari denies that he needs help from everyone, despite Dino and Fon's comments that Xanxus can defeat him.  Dino realizes that Hibari will not listen unless he experiences Xanxus's strength, so he decides to make Xanxus serious immediately by provoking him about his loss to Tsuna.  Much to the horror of the other Varia members, Xanxus rises to the taunt and activates his Cambio Forma.  Xanxus releases a barrage of attacks that made the Varia members decide to escape.  Dino instructs Hibari how he can destroy Xanxus's boss watch with his Vongola gear.  Hibari recalls his training with Dino about the flexibility of the whip, and unleashes a counterattack.  The hotel's top floors explode.

Hunter X Hunter  Chapter 337: Confession
A chimera ant recalls about its past life as a human assassin and how it's still doing the same as a chimera ant.  It thinks about how it tried to save a girl from the cycle of becoming a chimera ant by shooting at her, willing her to escape.  It also speaks of regrets, wishing that he had shot the other chimera ants chasing the girl instead.  It tells its story to a girl that looked like the girl he shot.  It walks away, but the girl calls him to stay by her side.  Somebody comes in to tell the girl that she has a guest, and her name is mentioned as Kaito.  Gon enters and apologizes for not being able to fight by Kaito's side.  They both acknowledge that they still didn't have enough training.  Kaito tells Gon that he/she understands what Gon wanted to say, and tells him to go back to talk to Ging.  The chimera ant tells Kaito that it's sorry for trying to run away and do the easy thing, resolving in the end to stay.  Gon returns to the headquarters and learn that Ging had left.  Gon realizes that Ging never said that he would wait there for him.

Fairy Tail  Chapter 272: The Noble Loser
Flare uses her hair to threaten Asuka, who is watching as part of the audience.  Lucy, who is unable to move because of the threat on Asuka, is attacked again and again.  The audience wonders why the battle turned one sided.  Lucy surrenders, but Flare stops her and continues the torture.  As Flare decides where to place the Raven Tail's brand on Lucy, Natsu runs through the audience and grab the Flare's hair that was threatening Asuka.  Natsu rips the hair and Lucy is finally able to fight back.  Lucy uses Gemini to make a copy of herself, raising her power exponentially.  Lucy unleashes Urano Metria, but the attack is erased by another member of Raven Tail.  Lucy drops in exhaustion to the ground, losing the battle.  The audience laughs at Lucy's failed attempt, which means that Fairy Tail Team A still had 0 points.  Natsu tells Lucy to stop crying and tells her that they will turn the tide.  Lucy, unable to stop crying, replies that she's all fired up.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi  Chapter 465: Welcome Back
Miu finally recognizes Kenichi.  The moment is short lived as Pengulu Sankan attacks them.  Kenichi and Miu fight together this time, but Miu still feels some of the effects of Jenazad's manipulation.  Miu tells Kenichi to use Korui Nuki, which Kenichi doesn't agree with because Miu will be in greater danger because of the move.  Miu tells Kenichi that she doesn't mind dying if it's for him and that she trusts that he will save her.  They push through with Korui Nuki, but Hartini shouts that they can't attack Pengulu Sankan head on.  Pengulu Sankan stabs Miu with both swords, but it is revealed that Miu is able to block the attack with Kenichi's tenkou.  She and Kenichi simultaneously attack and finally defeat Pengulu Sankan.  Kenichi and Miu finally finish their reunion. 

The World God Only Knows  Chapter 178-2: Once Upon a Time in Maijima
A  bonus chapter set in the wild west.  Cowgirl Shiori travels to the town of Maijima, where Darma the Bandit creates havoc by kidnapping Tenri to become his wife.  Even the deputy sheriff Ayumi is unable to do anything.  Shiori decides to stay in town.  Sheriff Ryou is pressured to retrieve Tenri, and ended up getting hanged.  While the rest of the townspeople give up, Shiori volunteers to take down Darma.  Refusing weapons, Shiori meets with Darma.  As Darma draws his gun, Shiori whips out her weapon.  Her weapons is a letter addressed to Darma's wife, detailing his various ill deeds in the town of Maijima, which Shiori threatens to send to the recipient.  Shiori is able to retrieve her treasure that Darma stole from her, a box which contains the 16th volume of The World God Only Knows
