Naruto Chapter 574: The Eyes That Look Into the Darkness
Karin pretends to go over the bend so the shinobi will lower their guard, while Jugo and Suigetsu learn about the war in their search for Sasuke. Jugo and Suigetsu get into a fight after discussing why Suigetsu joined the group in the first place. Jugo becomes unconscious in their struggle and accidentally tears down a wall, revealing Orochimaru's secret room, where Suigetsu finds something that could turn the tide of the war. He brings it along to give to Sasuke. Sasuke encounters a group of Zetsu, who attack him after realizing that Sasuke killed their original. He uses Susaano to defeat them easily, and uses the Sharingan to learn about the war and Tobi's goal to capture the remaining tailed beasts. Sasuke silently tells Naruto that he will kill him as he kills the Zetsu. As he contemplates getting used to his brother's eyes, it is suggested that he and Itachi might cross paths.
Bleach Chapter 481: The Tearing
Hiyori and Lisa are on their way from the bath, when Hiyori detects something in the shadows. Ryuunosuke wakes up in Ichigo's room. Ichigo tells him to go, but Inoue, Sado and Ishida arrive. As the four talk, Ryuunosuke realize that Ichigo was the shinigami representative who saved him two days past. He remembers Ichigo, Inoue, Sado and Ishida fighting the hollows that attacked him and Shino as he lay wounded. As he wonders about Shino's fate, she arrives to reprimand him about sleeping for so long even after his wounds were healed. In Soul Society, Ikkaku is rushing because of an emergency. Ichigo asks for Ryuunosuke's name, but was instead answered by somebody else. A figure wearing a hollow mask introduces himself as Ivan Azgiaro. Ichigo tells Ivan to get off his bed.
One Piece Chapter 657: A Severed Head
After eating the dragon, Luffy plays around with the severed body they previously found stuck on the dragon. Luffy, Robin and Usopp follow Zoro at a vantage point, where they all see a mountain of ice across a lake and they remember the person on the den den mushi saying it was cold. Usopp tries to convince his companions not to go to the mountain of ice to no avail. Usopp suddenly sees a figure of a large bird, then is shocked to realize that it has a human face. The figure flies away before the others can see it. Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Franky wake up from the effects of the sleeping gas and find themselves in a prison. They realize that Brook isn't with them. A voice suddenly asks them if they like puzzles. The crew realize that the voice came from weird looking parts on the floor, which appears to be different parts of a face. They eventually assemble the pieces, forming a severed head, who tells them that he was a warrior who was cut down and ended up in that form. After learning that they are pirates, the severed head expressed his distaste, but eventually reveals they are in prison in a frozen island. Nami realizes that the frozen island explains the wintry sky over Punk Hazard. Franky unleashes "Radical Beam" and blows a hole through the wall. Before they can leave, Sanji reveals the severed head to be a samurai from the land of Wa. As they confront him about cutting down the person who called using the den den mushi, the severed head tells them that he came to the island to find his son. Sanji decides to bring the head along in their escape. They enter a room filled with giant children.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 373: Fon vs Marmon
Marmon explains that his technique will deal damage to participants who doubt their victory and that the technique was implanted on everyone present in the room. Squalo notes that even if the fight between Hibari and Xanxus is exciting, the real fight that matters is the one between Fon and Marmon. Fon and Marmon disappear in a place of illusion where they can earnestly fight one on one. Hibari and Xanxus also begin their fight. Marmon tries to paralyze Fon with fear, which the latter is able to escape. Marmon unleashes a strong figure of illusion Uroboros, which Fon shatters easily, revealing that he has faced many illusions to train his mind. As Marmon wonders about the type of experience Fon had, he begins to doubt himself and his own technique starts to take effect on his body. Marmon's illusion disappears and Fon tells him to stop thinking about the doubt. Marmon, however, can't stop, further damaging his body. Fon moves to attack him so he can render Marmon unconscious before he destroys himself, but Fon runs out of time and becomes an Arcobaleno once more. Marmon declares his temporary victory, causing Fon to lose focus and deal damage on himself. Marmon uses an ice illusion to immobilize Hibari so Xanxus can shoot him. Hibari starts to doubt his ability to win and feels the effect of Marmon's bind technique. But before Xanxus's bullet hits him, it's deflected by Dino's whip. Dino warns them not to touch his pupil.
Hunter X Hunter Chapter 336: Cancel
As Illumi walks to where Killua and Aluka are, he contemplates about the secret conditions that Killua was keeping from the Zoldyck family. He enters the room where Killua and Aluka are, accompanied by Tsubone and Amane. Illumi tells Killua about his understanding of Aluka's condition, telling Killua that he can also manage Aluka's abilities and that if he was given control over them, he can guarantee Aluka's freedom. Killua tells Illumi that he will take care of Aluka, then wakes It up and commands it to send Illumi home. Illumi appears at the Zoldyck family estate, amazed at the fact that when It is commanded, there's no more risks for the dangerous requests. They watch the monitors as Killua commands Tsubone and Amane to leave. Killua tells It that it can't come out anymore, but It tells Killua that It likes him over and over again. Killua gives the command to It not to come out ever again more forcefully. It cries, but follows the command. Killua silently tells It sorry. Aluka opens her eyes and calls Killua onii-chan, but shows anger that Killua made It cry. Aluka demands Killua to apologize and hits him. Killua thanks Aluka and asks her to call It out. Killua tells It that he is sorry and that he did what he did because he was afraid that It will be asked to do harm by Illumi. He tells It not to listen to other people's wishes, and he will make sure to pat It and call It good all the time. He asks for forgiveness and It tells him that It likes him. The lookout order on Killua is lifted, which Tsubone receives with tears flowing down her face.
Fairy Tail Chapter 271: Lucy vs Flare
The battle portion of Dai-Matou Enbu is about to start, with 10 points at stake for the winner, 0 points for the loser and 5 points if the battle ends in a draw. The first battle is between Fairy Tail A's Lucy and Raven Tail's Flare. Fueled by anger because they hurt Wendy and targeted Gray during "Hidden", Lucy vows to win. Mavis contemplates on the motive behind Raven Tail's actions. The rest of the competitors are asked to leave the tournament grounds, which will be used as a battlefield. At the signal to battle, Lucy immediately begins by bringing out Taurus and Scorpio, who unleash a combo attack against the Flare. Flare counters by creating a wolf out of her hair, prompting Lucy to call out Cancer to cut the wolf air. Flare uses her hair to catch Lucy by the ankles and pin her down, which Lucy counters with Fleuve d'Etoiles. Lucy realizes her boots were destroyed, as Flare is angered at the damage of her hair. She launches her hair underground again, making one part appear behind Asuka in the crowd, distracting Lucy, who is caught and thrown by the other part of Flare's hair. Flare commands Lucy not to make a sound, and Lucy is unable to move because of the threat on Asuka. Meanwhile, the Knight Squadron Chief Arcadias watches the battle and comments that the matured fruit will ripen and that it might be completed that year. Arcadias also comments for Zeref to sit back and wait.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 178: Unique Spot
Chihiro overhears Katsuragi, Haqua and Diana's conversation, but initially think that it's about the performance he and Haqua put on earlier. Haqua informs them that the rock on Maijima ocean will be the gate where the weiss will enter into the human world. Lune receives the command not to touch the goddess in the meantime. She thinks about the girls that weren't caught yet. Haqua further explains that the reason why Vintage was using the rock on the ocean is because on its other side is the East Fortress Greda, the final battleground of the Almage-Machina and where the goddesses performed the seal on the weiss. She also confirms that Vintage's plan is to take effect the following day. Diana volunteers to fight, but Haqua tells her that she will be helpless against the weiss. Katsuragi tells them that they must ensure that war does not erupt and declare that he will have to conquer Ayumi to bring Mercury out. He intends to gather the goddesses, hoping that they are still alive despite being captured. As they conclude their meeting, Chihiro's phone suddenly rings as Ayumi calls her. Katsuragi opens the door, causing Chihiro to drop the phone, which Katsuragi answers to tell Ayumi that he's coming to confess to her. He leaves for Ayumi's home, dragging Chihiro with him.
