Naruto Chapter 578: A Weakness of Despair
Sasuke is finally able to catch up to Itachi and is surprised to find Kabuto, who he originally thought was Orochimaru. Tsunade destroys the branch that impaled her and attacks Madara again, revealing that she has mastered a restoration technique without a seal, a jutsu she inherited from Hashirama. Madara admits that he showed Hashirama's face on his torso to the Kages in order to lower their morale, but instead got the opposite effect. Madara creates several wood clones of himself and pits five of the clones against each of the Kages. Kabuto tries to convince Sasuke that Itachi is a common enemy, but Sasuke replies that he just wanted to talk to Itachi. Itachi tells Sasuke that they need to defeat Kabuto without killing him. Kabuto insists that there is no weakness to the Edo Tensei, but Itachi replies that he himself is the weakness. Sasuke asks Itachi to promise him that they will talk after defeating Kabuto.
One Piece Chapter 660: Royal Shichibukai Trafalgar Law
The children tell Nami and Chopper about how they were told that they were sick and taken from their homes without giving them the chance to say goodbye to their parents. They enter a really cold room, which the children refuse to enter because of the frozen corpses lining the walls, ceiling and floor. Sanji and Franky finish defeating the half sheep men. They set out to look for Nami and Chopper, bringing the samurai's head with them. Smoker and Tashigi play the recording of the call between Luffy and the person calling for help from Punk Hazard. Trafalgaw Law refuses them entry into the research facility, but as he closes the door, he hears the voices of the Straw Hat Pirates looking for a way out. Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Franky decide to double back after seeing Trafalgar Law and the Marines. Trafalgar Law causes the ship to float, upsetting the river leading to the ocean. He tells Smoker that he won't let them leave and that they will have to be disassembled.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 377: Assault from the Darkness
The Arcobalenos and their respective teams are shocked at the news of Bermuda and Vindice joining the representative battle. Iemitsu tells Tsuna that Basil called for ambulances to bring the Shimon family to the hospital. Before Tsuna and the others can head out to the hospital, Yuni arrives and confirms that she knew about Bermuda. She tells them that she knew of his anger towards the rainbow colored Arcobaleno, but not what the anger was about. Reborn consoles her and tells her not to shoulder everything anymore. Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto arrive at the hospital, where Basil meets them and informs them that the Shimon family will eventually recover. They meet Kyoko in the hospital, who tells them that Chrome was hospitalized because the doctors were unable to find her internal organs. Tsuna rushes to her after finding out that Chrome is asking for "boss". Chrome tells Tsuna about her request to include her in the team for the representative battle. Tsuna, Gokudera and Yamamoto later discuss the situation and suddenly feel an offensive flame, which other teams also feel. The different teams are attacked by Vindice, despite the fact that the battle for the day is over.
Hunter X Hunter Chapter 340: Special Assignment
The Zodiac are having a meeting, when Mr. Beans rushes in with urgent news. He shows them a video featuring Hoicoro, the King of Kaking, enjoining people with promises of rich resources by voyaging to the dark continent. The Dark Continent is said to be a taboo, a place where magical beasts live in and could not be found on their map. It is considered taboo because it has brought disaster on those who try to travel to it, causing a contract to be made that restricts nations from trying to travel to the Dark Continent, which is nullified in the case of Kaking when the government become a parliamentary democracy. Mr. Beans tells them that the news about the Dark Continent isn't the worst and points out the rest of video's contents. King Hoicoro introduces the person responsible for the investigation group that made it possible to travel to the Dark Continent, Captain Beyond Netero, the former Chairman Aizak Netero's son. The news surprises the members of the Zodiac, who knew that Netero didn't have a family, and they are further surprised by how similar Beyond is to Netero. Mr. Beans shows them a second DVD, which has specific instructions for the Zodiac to watch together when someone claims to be his son. The members of Zodiac who are present are in conflict, because they know that it will be difficult to get all of them together. Meanwhile, Beyond and his companions discuss how they can travel to the Dark Continent without restrictions. Among his companions is Pariston. Cheadle announces that Pariston and Ging has requested to be removed from the Zodiacs, which she approves of, making it possible for the 10 of them to watch the DVD. She also tells them that the V5 has tasked them to hunt down Beyond Netero.
Fairy Tail Chapter 275: The Drunk Falcon
The members of Fairy Tail all meet at a bar, commiserating on their poor performance on the first day of the Dai-Matou Enbu. Makarov rallies them to use the day's defeat as their motivation to do well in the future, with everyone shouting that they aim to become the number one guild in Fiore. Meanwhile, Arcadia reports on the events of the first day of the Dai-Matou Enbu to the king, who in turn commands who will battle the following day. After he leaves, Arcadia comments that he can't afford to rest since the day is about to come soon, revealing that he might be working on his own plans. The Fairy Tail party is still going strong, when a man challenges and defeats Kana in a drinking game. The man takes Kana's top as his prize, causing the members of Fairy Tail to attack him. But despite being drunk, he defeats them instantly. Erza recognizes him as Bacchus, also known as the Drunk Falcon or the Drunk Chop-Hanging Fist. She told the others that she knew him from previous assignments and that they were never able to determine who was the stronger. Meanwhile, Charle tells Porylusca about the premonition she saw, which involves a white knight, a magical array and an unbelievable scene. The scene involves the Mercurius, the palace of the King of Fiore, collapsing, with Lucy singing in its midst.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 467: Fuurinji Saiga
The former owner of Kenichi's tenkou introduces himself as Fuurinji Saiga, the former master who left Ryozanpaku, Koetsuji's best friend, Elder Furinji's son and Miu's father. Before Kenichi, Menang and Hartini can react, Saiga passes by them and covers Miu up with his jacket. Saiga proceeds to easily defeat all of Jenazad's warriors, with Kenichi noting his speed and how he didn't kill any of the opponents. Saiga thanks Kenichi for taking care of Miu and hands Miu's hair clip to Kenichi. Kenichi ask about John, who Saiga says didn't really exist but would have said that Kenichi is a man worth trusting. As Saiga tells Kenichi that he watched him protect Miu, Menang suddenly speaks up about stopping him, calling Saiga Ichiei. Saiga immobilizes Menang easily, but gives Hartini a cure that will help him restore the use of his arm. Saiga tells Kenichi that he didn't intend to fight unless Miu was in danger and tells him that the others have come for them. Sakaki, Lona, Batouan and Sham finally find Kenichi and Miu. As Kenichi is about to tell them that Saiga saved him and Miu, he realizes that Saiga is gone. Sakaki, happy to be reunited with Kenichi, goes all out and defeats all of the enemies. Miu wakes and comments that she heard her father's voice. When Lona asks about John, Kenichi tells her that John was a great soldier and already left once his mission was done. Sakaki tears down the walls to make a path for them.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 181: Cheers
Lune encounters Katsuragi and Ayumi outside of the convenient store. Haqua, seeing Lune in time, hides with Chihiro around the corner and warns Katsuragi to leave so she can fight Lune. As Katsuragi and Ayumi walk away, Nora suddenly arrives and asks Lune what district she's from. Lune pulls out her cutter, but flies away instead. Haqua advises Katsuragi not to go to the shrine and Chihiro suggests a house they can go to. Chihiro directs them to the house of Miyako, where she joins up with them on the pretense that she's concerned about their live performance. They all enter Miyako's house, where Chihiro tells Katsuragi that she will help him with the conquest. Pretending to have fun as a group, Chihiro tries to make Ayumi feel at ease about Katsuragi, who is still trying to find a good location for the conquest. When the opportunity arises for Chihiro and Ayumi to be alone, Chihiro asks Ayumi about her feelings for Katsuragi. Then Chihiro tells Ayumi that Katsuragi is a lying bastard and plays a recording that implicates Katsuragi's motives.
