Peps' Movie Rundown: 2012 Spring Film Picks

I had planned to post my picks for the upcoming summer movies in a couple of months.  I realized, though, that there are some interesting titles coming out as early as this week, so I opted to create a post featuring my spring movie picks as well.

The list I ended up with is a mixture of different genres and categories.  While there's the usual staple of hopeful blockbusters (The Hunger Games, Wrath of the Titans, Mirror Mirror, John Carter), there's also the horror indie fare Silent House, which was all shot in one take.  Although I am surprised that I ended up with horror titles, which I usually only watch if the other genres can't provide anything appealing that week.  I added Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, since I am hoping that the sequel will be the redeeming installment of the franchise.  But the film I'm really looking forward to?  Will Ferrell's Casa de mi Padre, which is entirely in Spanish.

The dates listed below are the US release dates.  For those who want to know the Philippine release dates, I suggest you check Click the City.
