Naruto Chapter 569: Prove Your Will!
Son tells Naruto that he will tell Naruto how to stop him, but that he does not trust Naruto and may not ally with him in the end. Kurama observes their conversation, silently telling Naruto that his intentions will never truly reach the tailed beasts. Naruto regains consciousness in the mouth of Son, with Tobi preparing to pull out Karuma and Son. Naruto tries to find a way to get out of the possessed Son's mouth, deciding to create so many clones that Son has no choice but to throw up. Once he is out of Son, he starts looking for the stake that Son told him to look for at his neck before regaining consciousness. Naruto locates the stake and activates Karuma's power, making it easy to grab onto the stake, which suddenly produces chains that bind everything that touches it. Karuma notes that Naruto never changes, remembering all of his struggles and unwavering self belief. He tells Naruto that if he wants to do something for the tailed beasts, that he should prove it with his actions because that is who Naruto is. It is revealed that one of Naruto's clone was left behind to look for the stake from inside Son to push it out.
Bleach Chapter 479: Goodbye to Xcution
Urahara finds that Riruka has left the shop. Ukitake receives a report and is relieved to know that Ichigo is safe and has defeated Ginjo. Captain Yamamoto also receives a report. Renji and the captains are surprised to find out the Ichigo is in Soul Society. They all meet Ichigo as he heads to meet with Captain Yamamoto. He is surprised to find that Kensei is also there and already a captain. Ichigo is welcomed by Captain Yamamoto, but Ichigo tells him that he's not there for praise, but to get the body of Ginjo so he can be buried in the material world. Hirako arrives and berates him, asking how he can forgive someone who messed with his family. Ichigo answers that it isn't about forgiveness, but that it's because Ginjo is just a mere shinigami representative, the meaning of which does not escape Captain Yamamoto. Kyourako tells Ukitake about what happened and is informed that Ichigo decided to keep the shinigami representative badge, since he trusts the shinigami's decisions. They both acknowledge that Ichigo has grown up. Riruka stands on a building's railings and says her goodbyes to Ginjo, Sado, Inoue and Ichigo. She jumps.
One Piece Chapter 652: Grim Premonitions
King Neptune and Jinbei discuss the benefits of being under the protection of one of the Four Emperors, specifically Big Mom. They also discuss the possibility of cutting ties with Big Mom, with Jinbei considering Luffy's offer. Jinbei expresses his fear that his decision might anger Big Mom and affect the island, but King Neptune comments that he's taking on too much on himself and notes that Fishman Island can always raise the Straw Hat Pirates flag in exchange for Big Mom's. Luffy returns to the palace, reporting that he had given all the treasure to Big Mom and that he challenged her, which worries the fishmen because one of the treasures, the Tamatebako, will explode when opened and infuriates Lucy because they just gave away the treasure. Caribou tries to find the treasure he lost, and sees Pekoms and Baron Tomago with the loot, thinking they were the ones who attacked him. Caribou attacks them, but is easily defeated by Pekoms. Meanwhile, near the Red Line, the G-5 Marines led by Tashigi, who is now a captain, are dealing with the wave of pirate ships that are appearing from underwater. Smoker interrogates the captured pirates, who recount that all of the rookie pirates were being captured by Hody so none were getting past Fishman Island. The captured pirates also tell them that it was the Straw Hat Pirates who saved them from captivity, which does not surprise Smoker.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 368: The Second Battle
Hibari and Fon encounter the entire Varia team, except for Xanxus, at the hotel. Marmon decides to wake up Xanxus, now that a real fight is at hand. Tsuna is shocked at Iemitsu's decision to sever their alliance because Tsuna refused to sacrifice Yuni's team. Gamma overhears a conversation between Yuni and Reborn, with the former telling the latter that it's imperative for his team not to lose the representative battle. Byakuran, who was also listening, tells Gamma that Yuni wants to protect Team Reborn. Tsuna decides to honor his alliance with Team Yuni and tells his people to protect their watches, but Byakuran tells him that their watches won't be able to survive the attack. Byakuran offers to protect Tsuna but is unable to risk destroying his boss watch, so Gamma volunteers, stating that Yuni's feelings for him are no longer the same as they were in the future, which Yuni refutes by saying that Gamma is still suffering from her mother's recent death. Iemitsu orders Colonello to fire the Maximum Rifle, which is targeted straight at Tsuna. Gamma tries to protect Tsuna, despite his severe injuries, with Reborn making the decision to protect Tsuna himself by releasing his curse. Yet, they are both beat to the punch by Byakuran, who made the sacrifice because of Yuni, stating that he had a dream after their battle in the future. It was a dream where he won, but he and everything else became nothing, with him just waiting to die until Yuni came for him and connected him to reality. Byakuran tells Tsuna that this time he is the one who will protect Yuni's heart and as he is blasted apart, bids Tsuna to defeat his father.
Hunter X Hunter Chapter 331: X Day
As the election dwindles down to the last four candidates and Killua races towards Gon, Ging is on his way out to leave the Hunter Association headquarters, when Cheadle stops him to ask him to stay. She asks for advice on how to win and what Pariston is thinking, even if Ging thinks that she won't really understand nor follow his advice. Ging tells Cheadle that Pariston doesn't really care about winning nor losing, and will continue to influence the election to keep himself occupied until X day. Cheadle is angered at Ging's statement that Pariston is the only one who is carrying Netero's spirit. Cheadle demands to know when X day is going to happen. Ging reveals that on the day Netero blew himself up, the association sent out airships that picked up chimera ant hybrid cocoons, which have hatched nen users. X day is the next hunter elimination, which will involve the newly hatched chimera ants. Ging tells Cheadle to figure the rest out herself. The eight election is in progress and the last four candidates make their. It is announced that all of the attending voters can't leave until the next chairman is chosen, no matter how many days it would take. Ging has a bad feeling about the event. Killua and Aluka arrive at the hospital. Killua patiently waits for Aluka to wake up.
Fairy Tail Chapter 266: Sky Labyrinth
Erza
asks the others what they have been up to, with Natsu and Happy feeling
angered at the treatment from the Sabertooth guild members. They
wonder where Wendy is, especially since the midnight curfew is nearly
up. Elfman and Lisanna arrive, and as Erza is about to ask them to look
for Wendy, the clock strikes midnight. There is a sudden announcement
via a projection in the sky that the preliminary event is starting, to
cut down the participating teams from 113 to 8. As everyone wonders
about the nature of the preliminary event and why there seems to be so
many guilds in Fiore, their lodging starts to move. The goal is to be
one of the first 8 teams with all 5 members to arrive at Domus Flau.
The preliminary level of the Dai-Matou Enbu, the Sky Labrynth,
officially starts, but Wendy still hasn't arrived. Elfman declares
himself the new member of the team and carries Natsu, Lucy, Erza and
Gray with him. Erza bids Lisanna and Happy to look for Wendy, while
Lisanna also promises to find out about the other guilds. The 5 member
team of Fairy Tail readily enter the Sky Labrynth, which immediately
takes them to a 3D maze. They encounter the Twilight Ogre guild, whose
members they easily defeat. The Sky Labyrinth then begins to spin,
changing the floor layout. They pick up a map made by Twilight Ogre,
which they decide to use with the map they made to get a better idea of
the labyrinth's layout. The members then decide to take the maps of all
the other teams that they encounter. They finally reached the goal,
but was informed that they barely made 8th place when they thought they
were first. Meanwhile, Happy and Lisanna find Wendy's bag lying on the
ground.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 460: A Fractured Heart
The joint teams of Sakaki, Hongo and Lona trek to the last location where they communicated with John. Sham find a piece of chocolate that John enjoys eating, which they all realize is part of a trail that he left for them to follow. Meanwhile, Miu continues her attacks on Kenichi, who is able to avoid a death blow. Jenazad knows that the reason Kenichi survived is because there is still a fragment of Miu's old self still in place, which cements Jenazad's belief that she has to kill Kenichi in order to remove the last vestige of her old self. Kenichi uses Ryusuii Seikuuken. As he looked in Miu's eye, he is greatly affected and angrily asks Jenazad what he has done to Miu. His actions causes Jenazad to realize that he is different from when they first met and has truly become Elder Furinji's disciple. Kenichi, remembering the old Miu, resolves to bring back her old self even if he has to die to do it. Kenichi finally goes on the offensive, using the Strongest Combo #1, the first technique that Miu taught him. Kenichi wills her to remember that he is using the moves she taught her and led him to training in martial arts. For a moment, Miu's movement's slow, but the apparent confusion is just a prelude to more devastating attacks.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 173: Punish Vanish
Ayumi is busy running errands for their class's activity during the school festival, but she is weighted by thoughts of Katsuragi. Katsuragi makes continued efforts to connect with Ayumi, but she rebuffs him at every turn. Chihiro arrives to replace Ayumi and take a shift as a waitress. She tries to find out what Ayumi and Katsuragi were talking about, but she is called to take an order from Lune. Ayumi seeks refuge in the rest room with Mercury appearing in the mirror. Ayumi fumes over why Katsuragi keeps trying to talk to her or become closer to her, and Mercury suggests that it might be because Katsuragi likes her, which Ayumi denies. Katsuragi decides that he needs to take Chihiro out of the picture in order to succeed in the conquest. Chihiro enters the bathroom Ayumi is in, and tells her that she was fine about being dumped by Katsuragi. She thanks Ayumi before leaving, making Ayumi realize that what has changed in their friendship wasn't Chihiro, but Ayumi herself because of her fear that Chihiro could see what she feels. Lune calls for backup to hunt for the goddesses.
