Naruto Chapter 556: Gaara vs. Mizukage!!
Gaara's absolute defense was useless against the former Mizukage. Even knowing his weakness, the shinobi army struggle against his strength. Gaara tries to make sense of the Mizukage's power, which seems to be made of an oily substance. The Tsuchikage tries to use his dust technique, but found that he had used up too much of his chakra in the earlier fight, so he decides to attack the former Mizukage's clam head on with the Earth-element Rock Fist technique. Then using the Earth-element Super Aggravated Rock technique, he finally breaks the clam but hurts his back in the process. With his back hurt, the Tsuchikage can't move when the former Mizukage attacks him using the Hoozuki clan's Water Gun technique. But it was revealed that he only hit a sand clone, and the shinobi army move in to seal him. Gaara uses the Desert Tiered Imperial Funeral, but before the seal could fully take hold, the former Mizukage uses the Infinite Explosion technique to escape.
Bleach Chapter 465: Bad Blood Exhaust
Ikkaku and Shishigawara fight, with Ikkaku trying to puzzle out the other's power. Ikkaku receives a blow on the shoulder, but uses his muscles to set his dislocated shoulder. Renji faces Jackie Tristan, but refuses to attack a woman first. Jackie activates her fullbring power, by covering herself in oil. Renji is unfazed by the explosion of power. Jackie is able to attack him successfully, even when Renji tried to evade. Much to Jackie's surprise, Renji is unhurt by the attack and tells her to attack him with all she's got. Her most powerful attack does nothing, and Jackie gets the wind knocked out of her with a strike from Renji's sword handle. He tells her that he's been training to fight Byakuya for the past months, and that the Xcution doesn't pose a threat.
One Piece Chapter 640: Fishman Island Rising
The fight between the Straw Hat pirates and fishmen pirates continue. Sanji and Jinbei continue to face Wadatsumi. Nami uses the clima-tac to deal with the other fishmen pirates. She dispatches them with the Lion Rod move. The other fishmen pirates try to attack Nami, thinking she's the group's weakness because of Sanji's reaction. Brook suddenly steps in, asking if he could see Nami's underwear, unwittingly blocking the attack on her by Ikaros. As Ikaros wonders why his attack doesn't work on Brook, Franky comes in and deals him a blow. Franky faces off with Ikaros, while Brook faces Zeo. Daruma and Chopper continue their fight underground. Chopper surfaces in time to save Usopp from an attack from Dosun. Usopp then shoots an explosive into the hole where Daruma is. Usopp faces Daruma, while Chopper faces Dosun. Zoro continues his fight with Hyouzou. Madam Shirley looks up in the direction of Shirahoshi, who is still being chased by the ark "Noah". Ryuuboshi and Manboshi realize that if Van der Decken dies, the ship would fall on the fishman island. Ryuuboshi instructs Shirahoshi to lead the ship to a safer place, but is attacked by Hody. Shirahoshi tries to lead the ark to the side, but Van der Decken finally dies and the ship starts falling toward the fishman island.
Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Chapter 354: Verde and Mukuro
Tsuna and his companions are shocked at the partnership between Verde and Mukuro, but Reborn comments that their self-centeredness fits well together. Mukuro tells them that by partnering up, he can defeat Tsuna, while Verde can defeat Reborn. As Mukuro walks away, Tsuna asks about Chrome. Mukuro tells him that he detests the current Chrome and bids Tsuna to take good care of her. Verde warns Tsuna that close friends could become enemies. At the CEDEF headquarters, Basil and Oregano confirm that Lal Mirch wants be Colonello's representative, but Oregano notes that CEDEF might not get involved. In a private conversation between Iemitsu and Colonello, it is revealed that the latter wants to remove the curse on Lal Mirch and not himself. Since the objective is for Lal to be freed, then Iemitsu finally agrees to lend CEDEF's powers to Colonello. They also talk about "that man" who has disappeared, leading Colonello to believe that he may have also been chosen as a representative. At the Gionerre family west temple, Tazaru, Nosaru and Gamma wonder how Aria's pacifier would light up, when she's no longer there. Gamma asks aloud why the pacifier is glowing when Aria already disappeared and Yuni can not be found. A voice answers that it was because a true heir to the pacifier has been found. Gamma and the others are shocked at the appearance of Byakuran and the real 6 Funeral Wreaths. Byakuran tells Gamma that he's there as the representative to help dispel the curse of the Arcobaleno. The pacifier suddenly emits more light and Yuni appears wearing it.
Hunter X Hunter Chapter 317: The Answer
Meryem and Komugi play a game of gungi one last time. Meryem is finally able to tell Komugi his name. Meryem tells Komugi that if he wins the game, she will stop calling him with the suffix "sama". He also tells her that he will no longer kill her if she loses. Meryem realizes that Komugi is using the formation kokoriko, and asks if she is insulting him. She tells him that she is always serious about gungi, and Meryem once again decides to kill her if she loses. They play intensely. Meryem is shocked when he realizes that Komugi is crying. She asks if it's possible for her to be so happy. Meryem admits to her that he is dying of a toxin caused by the rose bomb. He tells her that he wanted to spend the last moments of his life playing with her. He also warns her that if she stays by his side too long, the toxin will also affect her. She lays down a piece and tells him that she will stay with him. Meryem realizes that he was born so he could experience that day.
Fairy Tail Chapter 251: The Right to Love
Makarov announces the suspension of the S-level advancement exam. Natsu refuses to understand and starts making a fuss by saying that he wants to be an S-level mage, so Makarov informs him that he can become one if Natsu defeats him. Natsu is fired up, but is easily defeated. Laxus determines if Lisanna is real, as the Raijin tribe rejoice at his return. Wendy feels shy about greeting Laxus, but Erza reassures her. Lucy and Kana recuperate at a pond with medicinal properties and Kana apologizes to Lucy about abandoning her to go to Mavis's grave, in her desire to be able to finally tell her Gildarts that she is his daughter. Meanwhile, Gildarts try to teach Natsu the beauty of fishing. Kana arrives to tell Gildarts the truth, as Lucy drags Natsu and Happy away to give them privacy. Kana finally tells Gildarts the truth, and Gildarts react by trying to figure out which woman he's been with was her mother. Kana, disgusted, walks away, but Gildarts hugs her and tells her that he's sure that she's Cornelia's child. Gildarts tells her that Cornelia was the only woman he ever loved and married, but that he had left because of work and did not know he had a child. Gildarts is emotional at the thought of having a daughter so close to him without knowing, and Kana tells him that they can just act like they always have. She tells him that she was glad to have met her father. Gildarts cries as he remembers the sad look that Kana had growing up in the guild, and hugs her again and vows that he will never let her be sad again. He asks Kana for the right to love her. Lucy is emotional at the scene, while Natsu and Happy are shocked. On that day of happiness and reunions, Acnologia arrives to detroy Tenrou Island.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Chapter 445: Lump of Martial Arts
Sakaki and Hongo continue their fight, even while both are unconscious. Kenichi realizes that even if Sakaki is unconscious in a death match, there was still no killing intent in his moves. Silcardo Jenazad continues to watch from his perch at the next building, while Kenichi and Miu run out of space to retreat to, with the electrified water right behind them. Kenichi protects Miu from debris at the cost of his safety, and tells her that he will protect her. Miu is suddenly reminded of Kano Sho and tells Kenichi that they will work together to dodge and escape. Sakaki and Hongo land blows on each other, and Silcardo marvels at how the last blows would be talked about for a long time. Kenichi reaches out for Sakaki, but as he passes by Hongo, the Yami member automatically attacks him on the abdomen. Kenichi is thrown and falls from the building. Miu snaps and her "dark mode" awakens, and proceeds to attack Hongo.
The World God Only Knows Chapter 158: Goddess Mix
Diana tells Katsuragi that she had a premonition of danger, and asks that he summon the goddesses to lift the spell on Kanon. They bring Tsukiyo, Shiori and Yui, all still asleep, to Katsuragi's house with the help of Elsie. Diana wakes up the goddesses Vulcan, Minerva and Mars, as all of their hosts continue to sleep. All the goddesses reunite upon waking. All the goddesses fight over Katsuragi, who they all believe should be intended for their individual human counterparts. Diana laments the fact that she is the only one who doesn't have wings yet. Katsuragi finally convinces them to see Kanon, and they discuss the spell that bounds her. Using Minerva to amplify their powers, the goddesses hold hand to call out Apollo from Kanon, intending for her to remove the spell.
